while experiencing a new city with my family was pretty cool, i’m not sure that new orleans is my kind of city. i found it dirty and sour - but maybe we hung out in all the wrong parts. plus, maybe this isn’t really a family vacation kind of place. it just felt a bit…downtrodden. my fave part of new orleans was the city garden, which has a very cool sculpture garden. and a sandwich shop serving up grilled sandwiches and french fries next door. plus a very nice playground. i highly recommend it.
