btw, the renovation project at our new house is well underway. before the addition goes up next month, we are doing the following in the current space: adding two bathrooms, updating a current bathroom, converting a bedroom to a study/play area, creating a laundry room upstairs, and creating an opening between the dining area and kitchen.
sean and i are not total newbies at this given the basement renovation in 2010 and various other house projects. but this project is pretty exciting for me — maybe because it’s the first house that sean and i are moving into together.
can you be in love with tiles? i’m super elated about the subway tiles and penny tiles we picked out for the bathrooms. when i asked the contractor to use charcoal grey grout with bone white penny tiles for the floor, he said, oooh, that will look nice. can a friendship be based on grout color?
